What is Half of Infinity?

I know, it seems that the assignments will never end. . .but we only have three more fun-filled weeks to become ONE with technology.

If you made it to the first lecture last Thursday, I'm sure you were entertained and inspired!! If you only came to the second lecture. . .well, not so much. But I guess what doesn't kill you makes you stronger (you all gained a bit more patience, right?).

I still don't know exactly what RTI is . . . Can someone help me out?

Most of you should have noticed that I graded a number of assignments. As I told everyone on the first day, I expect that you fix any errors. While I did kick back a number of newsletter, they were all still good. Look in the published tab to see some of your peers' work. If you need to resubmit, please leave your original attached and resubmit the correction with the number 1 after it. Example: newsletterJH1.pdf, etc. Please get your revisions in soon.

Also, I would like everyone who had their newsletter graded to upload it to your blog. This is accomplished in a few steps:
1. Go to the Scribd link on the class blog and sign up (it's free)
2. Upload your document.
3. Once your document is uploaded, you will "embed" the document into a journal entry. when you view your document, you will choose the embed option and copy and paste the code into a blogger entry

This week: We have a lot to do. . .I HOPE to get the rubrics introduced on Tues, as well as the Wiki and Copyright assignments. . .For Thurs, I HOPE to get TaskStream, Inspriration/Kidspiration/InspireData, and the Web 2.0 Assignments introduced. Phew, I'm tired just typing this. . .

Question: Where would you go for your ultimate vacation? Who would you take? What would you do?

my ultimate trip would be going to United Kingdom, Wales, Scotland. I have been wanting for the last year and I would take my friend and sister. What we would do is many many things. I really can not say what that would be, but it would be the best two weeks there.

Someday when I am rich from my career in teaching, my husband and I are going to go to the Virgin Islands and charter a sailboat. We will sail around for weeks, island-hopping, snorkeling, scuba-diving . . .

My ultimate trip would be to travle Europe. Mainly Italy and Ireland. I would take my cousin with me because who knows what kind of adventures we would have. There's no telling what we would do; we're pretty free spirited girls. :)

I would like to take a tour of the seven wonders of the world. I know that people keep changing and redefining the seven wonders, so I don't know yet whose list I would use as my guidance, but I think it would be really awesome to see the pyramids in Egypt and Machu Picchu. I also really want to visit Iceland at some point too. I would take anyone up for a challenge!!

There are too many vacation spots on my "bucket list" to mention however one of the top spots is Ireland and I would take Carissa Anderson because I know she wants to come and I would have fun with her because she is crazy! But that is one of many!

I would ultimately like to travel around the world. Maybe spend some time in Europe with my brother or relax in Fiji or hike in New Zealand. I want to see and do everything I can. However, if I could go on any vacation right now, I would go camping with my family in Pismo Beach, CA. I absolutely love camping and I love the carefree atmosphere. We would go hiking, lay on the beach, make s'mores, and relax. Plus, my mom or aunts/uncles would occupy my son long enough for me to have some alone time ;)

My ultimate vacation would be go to first Italy to take a culinary course in basic Italian cooking. Then, I'd be off to wine country in France for tasting and enjoying the rural countryside. My next stint would be to England, Scotland and Ireland to check out all the castles (maybe stay in one or two haunted ones!)
Who knows - maybe I could hook up with the folks from "Ghost Hunters International". If I had time, I might also try to look up some geneological information since my family comes from that area.

My ultimate vacation would be to travel all/most of Europe for a month or even two. I've always wanted to go over there! Ideally I would go with my husband and my parents and maybe the rest of my family too- my sister and two brothers and their families. My family members are my favorite people and I would love to travel and share the experience with them! I think we would do everything we could, try food, see all the tourist sites, stay if fun places...

My ultimate vacation or trip would be anywhere with beautiful beaches. I went to Spain last summer and the water there was so blue and the beaches were so amazing (the specific spot I was at). I would just love to spend time on a beach doing water sports and experiencing new things. Also, I would love to visit Alaska because my dad lived there after high school. He always talks about it so it would be interesting to see things for myself.

This isn't really an ultimate vacation dream but it's a dream and it involves traveling: I'd love to take my son and boyfriend, parents, sisters, and brother to Ouaga for a month and visit my other sister that's there (haven't seen her for some time) and my cousins and family that I haven't seen in years.

Sorry to be generic but, my ultimate vacation would be to St. Martin. There I would love to stay in an airy cottage with direct beach access and panoramic ocean views, exploring the ocean, local shops and cuisine. All of this to be done with the love of my life...my cat...just kidding, my fiance.

I can't decide! However my ideal fantasy vacation would be island hopping to the Greek Isles in a yacht with Tom Brady :) I visited two islands last year and fell in love with Greece. Ive already been to a number of countries in Europe so my second choice would probably be Fiji or Tahiti, also with Tom Brady

I would go backpacking through Europe for a summer with my fiance. He has been to Europe several times, we have always wanted to go together. He is Scottish and I am Irish so we would definently make it to both Scotland and Ireland.

My trip would be the Greek isles, beautiful oceans, crystal clear water. Id visit Kephalonia, for the "acqui" memorial ceremony first. During World War Two 10,000 Italian soldiers were murdered for resisting the Germans after Italy fell to the allies. These Italian soldiers were executed because the Germans were wrong for the cruel way they treated to locals, and combine that with conflicting orders from home these soldiers decided to arm the local resistance fighters and began to fight their former allies. A lot of people don't know that about the "acqui" division, but most people aren't history majors. But anyway I would visit the memorial site and observe the ceremony. then Id just go island hopping, and just be a beach bum. Then its off to Italy for a tour and then all over Europe, and beyond.

I vacationed in Costa Rica last summer with my husband and absolutely fell in love with the country & the people. I'd love to go back and take my daughters with us. I'm intrigued by Bali and would like to go there someday. For now though I'll just have to read the travelogues on Lonely Planet and dream...

My ultimate vacation would be to go to Bali. I would take my husand although he doesn't like the water or snorkling. I would go there because snorkling with fish is the most peaceful experience I have ever had and right now I could use some peace.

There are tons of places I would like to go! Japan, New Zealand, Greece, Egypt, Morocco, Spain, Sweden, Germany (Munich for Oktoberfest!) and the Czech Republic (my great grandmother was Czechoslovakian) all over South America and Chiapas, MX. I would also like to visit Ireland again! I would take my friend Allison because she has been my best friend since we were 14 and I know we would have a blast together!

My ultimate vacation would be visiting all of the major lakes and rivers in the United States with my husband. We own a beautiful, very fast boat and one of our favorite things to do together is going boating. I think this would be one of the best ways to experience the United States.

Hi-- this is Crystal Miller from Inspiration Software®. Sounds like a really valuable course offered by Jeffery Heil.

I wanted to share with you about the Inspired Learning Community: www.inspiredlearningcommunity.com. It's a useful resource that might be appropriate as a link somewhere on this site.

Oh yes, and my ultimate vacation would be to Italy as I haven't been able to get there yet. Which part? Hmmm. All of it? I'd take visit with my husband and we'd visit museums, historical sites, enjoy great food and wine, and RELAX.

Good luck with the rest of the course!

I can't say that my ultimate vacation would be any one place. One particular area that I could spend some time around would be the Mediterranean. The differing cultures, history, and terrain make it the best of the vacation and exploration.
